Y yo he elegido esta delicia de delicias:
El Red Velvet que me trae loca..
y con Cerezas ó Picotas frescas ...Ohhh que combinacion tan maravillosa!!!
Empecemos:
Ingredientes:
3 y media tazas Harina (3 y 1/2 cups flour)
media taza Cacao polvo (1/2 cup cocoa)
1 cucharadita Sal (1 tsp salt)
2 tazas aceite Girasol (2 cups canola oil)
2 tazas Azucar (2 cups sugar)
3 Huevos (3 eggs)
1 y media cucharaditas Vainilla (1 1/2 tsp vanilla)
6 cucharadas Colorante Rojo (6 Tbsp red food coloring)
1 y 1/4 taza Kefir (1 1/4 cups buttermilk)
2 cucharaditas Bicarbonato (2 tsp baking soda)
2 cucharaditas Vinagre manzana (2 tsp vinegar)
Glaseado de Queso - Cream Cheese Icing:
1 taza azucar glass (1 cup powdered sugar)
2 cucharadas Queso crema (2 Tbsp softened cream cheese)
2 ó 3 cucharadas Leche (2-3 Tbsp mil)
Paso a paso - Directions
Mise en place... |
En el bol de la batidora, colocar el aceite, el azucar los huevos y la vainilla y mezclar suavemente... Place oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla in mixing bowl and combine thoroughly. |
Añadir el colorante rojo y mezclar con suavidad... Carefully add food coloring and mix in slowly. |
Miralo... que bonito es... Look at it how pretty it is. |
Añadir el harina y el kefir en dos veces intercalando solo batir lo justo sin sobrebatir... Add flour and buttermilk alternately in two batches |
Limpiar bien las paredes del molde y mezclar por completo... Scrape sides of bowl and blend completely. |
En un cuenco pequeño mezclar el bicarbonato con el vinagre, hara mucha espuma, remover... Place baking soda and vinegar in small dish and stir. |
Añadir esta mezcla a la masa y mezclar hasta integrar por completo... Add to batter and mix in until thoroughly combined. |
Sacar del horno para dejar reposar durante 15 minutos antes de desmoldar... Remove cake and cool in pan for 15 minutes. |
Dejar enfriar por completo sobre una rejilla... Before inverting onto a cooling rack. |

Añade el queso y mezcla hasta que no quede ni un grumo... Add the cheese and mix until there is not a crumb ... |
