Vamos a celebrar que alla al otro lado del mundo Junio es el mes de los papis..
El mio ya esta en el cielo..eso significa que ahora vive aqui conmigo..
ya no hay fronteras, ni distancias... su amor y su presencia

Horneamos este jueves para nuestro grupo Bundt Bakers
con la invitacion de Wendy Klik en homenaje a nuestros padres.

We bake this Thursday for our Bundt Bakers group
with the invitation of Wendy Klik in tribute to our father.

Let us begin:
Ingredientes:
250g Mantequilla pomada
250g Harina
1 cucharadita Levadura
220g Azucar
5 Huevos
media cucharadita Sal
Almibar:
120ml Vino tinto
100ml Agua
50g Azucar
ó sustituir todo lo anterior por 220ml de Sangria (aqui receta)
1 Naranja
1 Limon
Sirope de fresa

Ingredients:
1 cup Butter
2 cups white Sugar
5 Eggs
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
Syrup:
120 ml Red wine
100 ml Water
50g Sugar
and replace all of the above with 220ml of Sangria (recipe here)

1 lemon
Strawberry syrup
Paso a paso...Step by step...
Mise en place.. |
Añadir los huevos de uno en uno, batiendo bien entre cada uno, hasta integrar.. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.. |
Añadir la sal.. Add salt.. |
En un bol aparte cernir el harina con la levadura.. In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking powder and set aside.. |
Añadir el harina y mezclar.. Add flour.. |
Colocar la masa en el molde engrasado, es una masa densa y pesada.. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.. |
Hornear durante 40 a 45 minutos ó hasta que al hacer la prueba del palillo este salga limpio.. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.. |
Sacar del horno, reposar 15 minutos, desmoldar para dejar enfriar por completo sobre una rejlla.. Let cake cool in pan for 15 minutes.. |
Una vez que este totalmente frio y con ayuda de un pincel pintamos todo el bundt con la Sangria ó el almibar si es vuestro caso.. Apply Sangria it to the top and sides of the cake after it has cooled.. |
Para terminar adornamos con rodajas de naranja, la piel del limon y el sirope de fresas.. Finally garnish with orange slices, skin of lemon and strawberry syrup .. |
