I immediately thought this was my best choice..

I have thought that baking a quatre quarts cake, o pound cake
that has so much balance in its dough is perfect to add fresh peppermint.

Me fascinan la hierbas aromaticas, en especial la hierbabuena..
Ese olor tan cautivador, tan particular que tiene, que me encanta!
Y ante la propuesta de Wendy Klik de hornear un pastel con Hierbas
para nuestro grupo @BundtBakers
Inmediatamente pense que esta era mi mejor eleccion..
He pensado que hornear una base de bizcocho cuatro cuartos, que
tiene tanto equilibrio en su masa es perfecto para añadir la hierbabuena fresca.

(El bizcocho cuatro cuartos, el quatre quarts francés o el pound cake anglosajón

Empecemos:
Ingredients: Ingredientes:
4 Huevos. 4 Eggs
250g Harina. 1 cup all purpose flour
250g Mantequilla. 250g Butter
250g Azucar. 1 cup Sugar
7,5g Levadura. 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking power
1 cucharadita Vainilla. 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Pizca Sal. Pinch Salt
Hierbabuena fresca. fresh Peppermint
250g Nata montada. 1 cup whipping cream
Colorante comestible verde. green food coloring
Perlas. Pearls
Paso a paso: Step by Step:
Mise en place.. |
Batir la mantequilla que debe estar pomada. Beat the butter which should be soft |
Añadir los huevos uno a uno, hasta mezclar bien. Add the eggs one by one, until well mixed. |
En un bol aparte cernir el harina con la levadura.. In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking powder and set aside. |
Añadir el harina en tres veces , mezclando suavemente.. Add the flour three times, mixing gently. |
Lavar y cortar finamente las hojitas de hierbabuena. Wash and finely chop the peppermint leaves. |
Hornear durante 50 minutos ó hasta que al hacer la prueba del palillo este salga limpio.. Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.. |
Sacar del horno, reposar 15 minutos, desmoldar para dejar enfriar por completo sobre una rejilla.. Let cake cool in pan for 15 minutes.. |
Decorar con la nata montada y rosas. Decorate with whipped cream and roses |
Tambien colocar algunas perlas. Also put some pearls. |
Aqui lo teneis mis Patycofans...un pastel muy suave con el aroma delicioso de la hierbabuena, espero que lo hagais os va a enamorar!!! Enjoy it my Patycofans... it's soft and delicious!!! |
